NEW CBA DEAL?

A proposal was set in place by the NHL today and here are the main features of that proposal:

A 50-50 revenue split for year one
82 game schedule
Free agency age becomes 28 or 8 years of NHL service
Entry level deals change from 3 years to two years
Contracts last up to 5 years
Salary Arbitration Eligibility would go from four years to five.

Something to make clear. The NHL lockout will not end tomorrow unless something drastic happens. What I’d like to think is that this is the start of something big. Remain here for the latest!
